  43. My friend RA3PBQ ask me to help with NEW ROM's firmware for TNC-2 clone.
  44. He have problem with PMS - PMS work with 7-bit only (hight bit's striped)
  45. and he can't use alternative Russian code. ( Problem's with PMS only. )
  46. If you know about NEW free vs for TNC-2, PSE let me know.

  57. I'm interested in using digital speech encoding to link some repeater
  58. systems together with toll-quality audio and using links of about the
  59. same bandwidth as analog voice circuits.  Any pointers to suitable
  60. CHEAP vocoders/codecs and suchlike would be appreciated.  (So far the
  61. cheapest chipsets cost around $150 or so and I'd really like to do it
  62. for less than that if I can!)

  72. Along this line, has anyone ever pushed a Mitrek or any other
  73. readily available radio to 38.4 k baud?  I'm eyeing the new
  74. Paccomm SPRINT-2, and it can do G3RUH modulation all the way
  75. to 57.6k baud.  Just what kind a radios can do this?

  164. If you can get a copy, I wrote an article in July 1989 CQ magazine
  165. that discusses mobile packet radio and some possible mounting
  166. solutions.

  213. You might try the Kantronics KPC-3 or their new KPC-9612.  Both are quite small and can
  214. be powered by a standard 9 volt battery.  The KPC-3 (the one I have) can also accept
  215. DC power from 7.5 volts to 15 volts, so powering it off of the 13.8 in your car is possible.

  236.   If you can tolerate it being *much* smaller than most mobiles, try the
  237.   Kantronics KPC-3. Takes almost no power at all and is about the size of
  238.   a pack of Player Cigarettes.

  273. afford).  What has been your experience?  How fast can you go? 1200, 2400,
  274. or 9600 (on 440)? Experience any problems?  What do you do to toggle

  305. I am looking for a shareware or free ware terminal program for my 
  306. macintosh performa 630cd it runs system 7.1.2p I have installed soft kiss 
  307. and tried to run it with a lan line terminal program as it suggested bu I 
  308. have so fare bein un able to make it work, I am using pafcom for the term 
  309. program. The soft kiss program also suggest usaing a program called 
  310. Mac/Net, I have so fare bein unable to find it on the net. For a tnc I;m 
  311. using the BayPac tnc from tiger tronics, any help would be apreiceiative, 
  312. please e-mail me directly.
